Dear colleagues,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are pleased to invite you to the YOUNG symposium, preceding the 24th International Conference on Photochemical Conversion and Storage of Solar Energy (IPS-24) and the International Conference on Artificial Photosynthesis-2024 (ICARP2024).
This special meeting provides a forum for young scientists to share and discuss their research with each other in a more familiar atmosphere.
We will accept both poster and oral presentations from Students and Young scientists covering a wide variety of topics in the same interdisciplinary spirit as the main IPS-24/ICARP2024 conference. The program includes oral presentations (about 10-15 slots) and posters. We will also feature invited speakers and other activities, providing many opportunities for discussion and networking amongst each other.

  • Invited talk (30 min including Q&A)
  • Oral (20 min including 5 min Q&A)
  • Student oral (15 min including 3 min Q&A)
Oral presentations
  • Oral presentations will be given by using an electronic projector.
  • Please bring your own PC and connect with an electronic projector prior to your presentation.
  • Ensure that your computer is equipped with the proper monitor connector (HDMI or VGA (mini D-sub 15 pin)). If your computer does not have this connection, please bring an appropriate converter with you.
Poster presentations
  • The size of the poster board is 870 mm (width) x 1890 mm (height).
  • The recommended poster size is A0 portrait size (841 mm × 1189 mm) or smaller.
  • Pins for display will be available in the poster room.
